GA

Girls in Action (G.A.'s) is a missions organization for girls in grades 1-6 which promotes prayer and giving for missions, and learning and doing missions. This wonderful group of girls meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00. Their meetings include a Bible Story, Missionary Study, or Mission Project, activities such as crafts and games, scripture memory, a snack, and prayer time. Many meetings they often do things for other people. You also might find them making their own food or learning an activity outside. G.A.'s is lead by Julie Laude, Claudia Bates, and Megan Bolton. RA

Royal Ambassadors is a missions discipleship organization for boys in grades 1 through 6. B. D., Don and TC meet with the boys of the JBC RA on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 through 8:00pm. For more information about the organization, go to the official Royal Ambassadors® web site.

REACH youth

REACH, for students in grades 7 through 12, meet every Wednesday night at 6:30. Lead by a group of adult volunteers, the young people have lessons from the Bible, explore ways to serve God and enjoy fellowship with one another. Membership in JBC is not required to be a part of the REACH program. Some of our members are members of other local churches.  If you would like to be part of the REACH group, just show up!

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, Joy Baptist Church holds a Vacation Bible school for children in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.

Christmas Contata

Each year, the JBC Choir and musicians present a contata under the direction of Claudia.

Ongoing

Sharing Library

The library was opened in the summer of 2009 and was moved to a new location in the summer of 2013. Members may check out books for themselves, their children and to share with shut-ins or others who might enjoy reading a book. There is a self-checkout method in use and there are no time limits or fines.
